Was the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost a one-time event, or a picture of what our own churches should look like? On this program the hosts will discuss the significance of Pentecost in the scope of redemptive history and will explore the controversial subject of what it means to speak in “other tongues.” As we’ll see, the main focus of Acts 2 is that the disciples were empowered by the Spirit with boldness and supernatural insight to proclaim Christ as the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy.
