Description: Why is the American government shaped the way it is, and what were the ideas that led to its formation? Why for example do we have distinct branches of separate but equal powers, rather than a sole ruler with sovereign authority? Also, what led the founders to make a clear separation between church and state? Join us for this special event as we discuss the beliefs that helped shape the American political landscape down to the present day.

This event will be moderated by Frank Gannon, special assistant to the White House during the Nixon years.
