How did the apostles contend for the faith throughout the book of Acts? Did they share their testimonies or inner experiences? Did they encourage blind faith? On this special live edition of White Horse Inn, the hosts discuss the sermons in Acts in order to discover how to "contend for the faith once delivered to the saints." (originally aired May 2, 2010).

  • Here's the ad Rod mentions, its a Wendy's ad from the 80s about chicken nuggets in McDonalds:

    Christopher,

Thanks for that blast from the past! Rod might want to get ready to meet two redheads at his door with warrants in hand--a short one with pigtails for copyright infringement, and a tall one in whiteface for libel!

  • Incidentally I think Michael is really on to something with that blasphemy line of thought. Would your church, your pastor's preaching be considered blasphemy in Jesus' time or would it be vaguely spiritual or therapeutic enough to make them shrug?

How about today's modern religion of naturalism, political liberalism, and humanism? Would your life and belief be considered blasphemous to this modern religious spirit?
