Refreshing!
We need to hear this message on a regular basis. The “postmodern” view is so common and prevalent (along with the fundamentalist view) that we need to be reminded where we stand, what we’re fighting for, and why we’re not ludicrous for fighting for it.
Thank you fellas for enriching and helpful programming.

Those of us in the mainline denominations are wrestling with this in spades. We are in the process of separating from our denomination. In a recent meeting with a committee of Presbyterian PCUSA representatives, they pled with our people insisting that we must accept and be gracious to differing “interpretations.” They refer to individuals who are more interested in following culture than engage in discipleship as they “contextualize” the Bible and distort the meaning of the word beyond credulity. As a result they advocate regarding practices that God has clearly called sin as an “alternative lifestyle.” Many who have little background in Scripture hear this and give up on finding objective truth.
