The Magnificent Dane: A Tribute to Rod Rosenbladt
Way back when, Kim Riddlebarger introduced me to Rod Rosenbladt, one of his professors at Simon Greenleaf School of Law. Twenty-five years later, here we are still doing “theology on tap” together at the White Horse Inn. I can’t calculate the gifts that God has given me through the magnificent Dane over these many years. For his insights, challenges, conviction—and most of all, his friendship in the gospel, I’m greatly in Rod’s debt and I know that Kim and Ken feel that way as well. We’re delighted that Concordia Today Magazine has published a tribute to Rod’s work in its latest issue.
UPDATE: Our friends at New Reformation Press have made a pdf of the article that you can download here.

Is there any way to download the text of this article? Wonderful stuff and Dr. Rod is probably writhing. He richly deserves this.

Great article! I love listening to Dr.Rosenbladt teach. Currently going through the videos on Luther’s commentary on Galatians which is a particularly thrilling book for someone who was JW as a child.
May we all be so richly blessed as to be able to learn more about God’s Word rightly handled!

Glad to read this article! I think
God used Rod to teach me the
utter depth, height, etc. of God’s
love as shown to us in the Gospel. And the
sheer objectivity of the salvation we are given
through the death and resurrection of Christ.
I would have given up on Christ long ago if I had not listened to the WHI, and heard Rod speak. It’s
too bad we don’t hear enough about the
Gospel for the christian who has blown it
big time, utterly failed time and time again,
and is now positive that they were never saved.
I know now that there will be plenty like this in heaven.
