Dr. Ryan Glomsrud, the Executive Editor of Modern Reformation and Associate Professor of Historical Theology at Westminster Seminary California was recently interview on Office Hours to discuss what books he would want to have with him on a desert island.

On a desert island? I would think the question ought to be, out of the five books on the island, if you had to move and move fast, which one book would you keep in disregarding the rest when it is obvious you can only hold unto one book easily enough while running for your life?
For me: that would be the King James Bible because modern Bibles have changed the meaning of His words that it supports false teachings and apostasies today. I would rather have the meat of His words to discern good and evil and thus relying on my Good Shepherd to understand His words rather than someone more interested in getting a copyright patent in producing a modern Bible.
Since keeping the faith is the good fight, for believers to continue in His words to be His disciples, they should have the meaning of His words as kept by those that loved Him and His words.
I would rather have His message on a deserted island to comfort me rather than a message lost in poetic licensing.
