The Bandwagon of My Own Uncertainty
Continuing on with the preaching theme this week, here is a great YouTube clip featuring Taylor Mali from Def Poetry Season 2 on our being “the most aggressively inarticulate generation to come along since, you know, a long time ago!”
Sadly, the “tragically cool and totally hip interogative tone” that he mocks here occupies too many of our pulpits and public speech about God.

High School students? I will be showing this to my college students – upper division. Worth watching also is Taylor Mail’s outstanding “The The Impotence of Proofreading.”

I saw this several months back, and I hate to say it, even though I was listening to Rob Bell at the time, he was the first guy this video made me think of. Funny stuff! But true and much needed.
