Mike Potemra has some nice things to say about Michael Horton’s The Christian Faith at National Review Online.
Interesting, especially when you throw into the mix that NR – following the lead of its founder, the late WFB – comes from a decidedly Catholic perspective.
True, National Review’s writers and editors have tended to be Roman Catholic, high-church Anglican and Jewish, but leading evangelicals like Harold Ockenga were writing for NR back in the early 1970s. And truth be told, the lack of evangelical presence at NR has more to do with the “scandal of the evangelical mind” than it does with Catholic bias.
