Dad Rod Thursdays
This week for (a belated) Dad Rod Thursday we offer a simple treat for advent season. In years past, Dr. Rosenbladt would be asked periodically to perform a solo of the Christmas hymn, O Holy Night. One season he even did it at a prison!
Well, we’ve dug up one of his performances and offer it here for your edification. Feel free to download a copy for yourself if you wish.
Enjoy, and Merry Christmas!

Wasn’t it Martin Luther who said, “Never trust a theologian who can’t sing?”
This recording speaks well of Dad Rod’s theological prowess.

Wow! This is great! Ever think of a second career, Dr. Rosenbladt? Looking forward to more of the same in the future.

I heard Rod sing this Christmas Eve 1998. Will never forget it. My teacher, my friend, confessing always.

Wow. I’ll say it again backwards, wow.
I had always thought that you guys were joking about this.

This was just wonderful. I mentioned this on my blog post for the third Sunday in Advent and included a link to this post. It fit in perfectly with the scripture for this day, Luke 2:8ff, the angel of the Lord’s announcement to the shepherds in Bethlehem’s fields.

Didn’t know you could sing. Excellent Rod! A blessed Advent and Christmas be yours.

Even though it’s neither Christmas nor Thursday, this was the first time I read through a Dad Rod Thursday blog, and what a surprise.
Rod’s awesomeness level is OVER 9000!!!
