WHI-1023 | The Parables of Jesus (Part 6)
When Jesus returns will he separate the sheep and the goats based upon good works? How are we to understand Jesus’ teaching about this in Matthew 25? What about the parable of the wedding banquet; how does this story relate to our view of last things? On this edition of White Horse Inn the hosts will discuss these questions and more as they wrap up their series on the Parables of Jesus.

Your explanation of Matthew 25 on the show blew me away! I suppose there is the fulfillment of this passage both in the AD 70 destruction of Jerusalem as well as at the Lord’s Second Coming, right? So, am I correct in gathering that, as the sheep were in the original context believing Jews who ministered to Christ in persecuted believing Jews, likewise, at the Second Coming, the sheep will be those declared righteous by grace through faith, and there grace-wrought works will be their entire life of sanctification, rather than specifically (although not exclusive of) their ministering to the persecuted Christians of the world?
Am I on the right track?
