A new documentary looking at the relationship of American evangelicals to the modern State of Israel is being screened several nights this week in southern California.

The film screening will be followed by Q & A with the Producer Porter Speakman Jr. and Pastor (Vicar)/ Author Stephen Sizer. An EXCELLENT summary of Stephen Sizer’s research/ writing on Dispensationalism, Christian Zionism and Israel:

Sizer is one of only a handful of Pastors/ Authors who dares to challenge both the false theology of Christian Zionism/ Dispensationalism and it’s political implications/ consequences (war and military occupation sanctioned by Dispensational theology) for the church in Palestine.
The above video is an excellent intro for anyone who wants to understand the conflict and how Dispensational theology/ Christian Zionism has sustained and encouraged war and politics.

Is there any plans for follow up audio work on Christian Zionism on the White Horse? I’d love a few podcasts getting stuck into all their old heroes, as this stuff is warping minds all over the place. EG: Check out this thread where I just briefly mentioned that we should hear both sides of the political situation on the ground in the Middle East, and I’m automatically called a Holocaust Denier — by a supposed Pastor?
