Nathan Bingham sent this over to us this weekend, a series of videos of Mike Horton speaking about one of his earliest books, The Agony of Deceit. That book still gets Horton invitations to speak to national news media about the likes of Benny Hinn. Thankfully, his hairstyle has changed! (Around the office here we refer to that era as the “flock of seagulls” hair days!)

Does that mean Horton is a hair-etic?

Yikes! Not sure if the side-swept coif is worse, or the creeper mustache. And sweet glasses…all around awesomely bad early 90′s look. Nice Horton, nice.

Classic! In these photos, He reminds me of Herbie the dentist on “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.”… except with a mustache.

I picked that book up for like $3 at a Zondervan’s Bookstore sometime in the early nineties. I was post-charismatic but little did I know that I had a small collection of Reformed literature (between that book and a book of Schaeffer’s letters).
